Hi all

Car just been to garage, it needs a new Cam belt kit apparently....the guy says he can only buy them in separate pieces (e.g. belt, tensioner pulley and guide pulleys)

does anyone know where i can buy them as a kit or do i need to buy them separate?

I've never seen a proper "kit" offered by OEM (such as Gates or Dayco) manufacturers or Subaru.

Although independant sellers may put them together in one single package; but its not a cambelt kit per-say. Where all the parts come from the same manufacturer. Which is what you get if you order a proper kit for many other cars.

Have always had to buy a Gates Belt, and Blueprint pulleys/tensioners as and if they are required - after inspecting their condition.

having same probs mate - need new cambelt kit as well as clutch kit

Euro car parts sell all the bearings/tensioners seperately,The ones i bought from there were in either nipparts or gkn boxes,So were of a good quality too
