Default Got me key wet!

03WRX key on original battery. Got wet in my coat pocket during a downpour and then remote wouldn't work!
I've changed the battery but no joy.
Is it a dead-un do you think or any bright ideas on resuscitation?
How many millions of pounds for a new one?

Remove the battery and place in the airing cupboard for a few hours to dry out properly. Refit the battery and try again. Should sort it.

I'll try, although it got wet a good couple of weeks ago so I would have thought was dry by now?

Take the remote to bits and let it dry out. Should have been done immediately as the solder on the PCB could have gone rusty by now.
