After two weeks of the 'Dancin Scooby Doo' being off the road due to 'problems'
i have to apologise to Trouser
he sold me a set of Rim2000's (17"s) and from day one they RUBBED on the side wheel arch at the rear N/S and O/S, i always had a go at him and said he'd sold me a set of Tractor Tyres! as they were that wide only a Massey Ferguson or a John Deer vehical would be more suited to them!
BUT
it was nothing to do with the Tyres Size!
the problem showed its self when i asked for Eihachs to be fitted....Eibachs could not be fitted to a car (ie MINE) which has 3 outta 4 dampers knackered and two rear springs sagging! HENCE the problem of the rear wheels rubbing!!!!!! the cars surspenson had had it! and i've done 3 track days this year, i really think they were gone a long time ago though! how safe has my car been on the road and track at speed, doesn't bare thing about does it?!?!?
so for all the stick i've given Paul over this I'M SORRY!
I've had my car back this evening with new Dampers and Springs all specially lines up with the wheels as TSL do (wot ever they call it)
i've also had a new clutch
braided hose lines
Sti5 spoiler as well.
as you can see i've had a bad January financialy.
so if anyone wants any decorating doing, i'm your man! i need the money.
now i should be able to drive my scooby properly!!

Jees Phil - well at least you've sorted out the rubbin' problem eh!
