Default JollyGreen Remap at SurreyRollingroad

Many rhanks to Simon of Jollygreenmonster.co.uk and Charlie at Surrey Rolling road for a fantastic remap on my SubaruPPP Sti. MY05 uk

Went for the Ecutek remap after much deliberation and nearly parted with well over 2k at CR subaru when all I needed to do was get the ECU
remapped.

Car started off at about 298bhp before map, which I was quite pleased about as I had heard most were around the 285 mark.

Simon got the car to 340.6 bhp which was better than we all expected. Charlie and Simon said that it was the most they had seen from a standard car PPP car. It certainly felt like 340 on the way home..the thing bloody flies.

great service and highly recommended.

many thanks to scoobynet members for pointing me in the right direction and saving me some cash too!!

Tif

Great results mate it has to be said. Is it the 2.5 engine running just PPP???

I was going to pop down to SRR to see Charlie boy and Simon today but ran out of time to get there.

no mods no filters nothing...standard UK car with PPP on delivery from new.

Simon charged £650 for the Ecutek remap and It was £70 for the RR session.
Not a bad bang per buck rate!

Just took the car out now and it really feels good pulling noticably harder in virtually every gear. 3rd is even more insane.

This is what i'm aiming for myself, just a standard remap on a PPP, been looking for a thread like this. Will give me something to aim for. What's your torque figure Peter? As that's what i'm more interested in.

chaps

It all took about an hour...simon and charlie who was driving were in the car most of the time on the RR then took it out on the road for testing.

torque figure...
looking at the graph charlie gave me i think it is 330 lbft at 4200 rpm
bhp is exactly 340.6 at 6000rpm (if im looking at the dotted graph)//

not sure

Simon might know

or there is another graph

thats the same numbers I remember..

Its not often I see a standard PPP car, normal they have already had exhaust changed and panel filter at least.

Simon travels, and the results speak for themselves I think. In the next few weeks FlashCAN will be available for use by Ecutek dealers, so you'll be able to have your new 08 Imprezas remapped too!

You might find a few more HP from a new centre section, the aftre market items are about 3mm larger bore than the OE part.

regularly use Surrey RR and Evolve in Luton, both dyno dynamic rollers.

I can do a road dyno before and after though on the laptop
