Update for those of you who read my thread last week about broken windscreen...

After much trepidation and good advice from people on here I had it replaced today without any problems..

Insurance told me to call National Windscreens, which if I'm honest worried me as I'd never heard of them. Lady on their free phone number was very helpful and she told me that I needed a dealer screen and new trim..

Next morning (sat) local branch manager phoned for VIN number so they could order correct screen from Subaru. Phoned again Monday morning to say it will be with them Weds. Called this morning to say it's in and when did I want it fitting. Chose to go to them as weathers been iffy.

Basically, they've done a top OEM job (watched every second). Very careful and ticked all the boxes on the things I'd been told to watch out for..

So VIN plate visible, RV mirror fitting already fitted to new screen (so no problem with it falling off ), nice and straight, no broken clips and no scratches.. 10/10..!

So IMHO credit where credits due, I can highly recommend them..!
