Bit of a simple/embarassing question to ask on an enthuasts forum but this is my first subaru(got it late november). will just any kind of radiator coolant do to top it up for now? just bought some at a local garage and the guy asked me if the "new" coolant that they used would do for it?? wasnt sure but bought it anyway...surely this is ok(if not the same as whats in it anyway)? Any help on this stupid question would be appreciated.

Best to flush the system totally to be sure Always use a coolant that is suitable for aluminium.
