I have only the MY08 WRX JDM it had a lot of potential but will wait to test the STI JDM most reckon aroud 380 bhp off the new 2.0ltr engine with the 8,400 rpm
I a few options and no rush to decide
going back to the UK "Fold" if the 400bhp PPP was true, sadly not untrue
EU car 2.5 and tune it up to 400+
A 2.0ltr JDM and tune to 380
wait for the Spec C JDM

I considered it, but with currently owning an MY06 Spec C Type RA I feel that the standard STI will not be enough for me and will only make the move to an MY08 car if and when a Spec C or Type RA variant is produced.
So as a stop gap I have ordered a Spec C Type RA-R with Litcho.

But the other one has a number plate reading 'STI'
Bottom one looks like...
1.) mouth of bumper is different
2.) vent on side is gone and fog lights instead
3.) doesn't have flared arch
4.) top has wing mirror indicators, bottom arch indicators
5.) wheels differ in size
6.) seems to have different splitter
7.) ...erm... COLOUR

Yip - as someone who has actually seen a new UK STI with his own eyes (along with a few other people here) that bottom picture is BS. The UK car looks identical to the JDM car - except it has little "Type UK" stickers in the rear quarter windows.
Actually - I saw it probably on the same day as that picture was taken - as I've just realised that its from Autosport International. Thats a UK car.

I never liked the idea of a hatchback Impreza, but certain people on here kept saying "wait until you see the STi in the flesh"
Well I saw it at the Autosport Show and it still looks crap. I was right all along.
But looking at the Litchfield STi and the UK STi, I'd say the UK model would be the better bet.

Not wanting to split hairs Tony but the prices start from £24,995 OTR and all cars will feature a number of changes under development Pop over for a drive if you get bored tomorrow

I think its going to take the facelift before sales really pick up, similar to the Bugeye situation. If I was in the market for a new car I would have a used JDM Hawkeye Sti/Spec C before spending money on one of these fuglies however well it performs. Plus I like the saloon practicality anyway and don't need a hot hatch.
