Yep, looks like a nasty copy as well to be honest. You have a ton of choices for a replacement as you have a universal connector there really coming from the front mount piping.

Don't take this as gospel but if you look at this page for their noise rating of various BOV's Impreza Dump Valve, Bailey Motorsport DV12, DV10, Forge Dump Valve, HKS SSQV, Blitz Supersound :

You can go from there . Obviously you DO NOT want a subaru fitting on it due to not running a TMIC. By the way, have you tried turning it away from the firewall/cabin? While it wouldn't make the world of difference, it should help a bit in the short term.

Bacause you basically have a dump valve coming off a bit of Samco hose from the pipework. The end of the dump valve had to be circular in order to clamp down airtight with the hose. It is as I said pretty well a universal circular fitting, you justy need to check the diameter before ordering. Normal BOV fair for Imprezas use a gasket/press design where they bolt airtight to the top mount intercooler. The pictures on that link show you what I mean. You may well be able to get an adaptor plate to tape a gasket/plate BOV and let it fit to a circular clamp design, but I can't say I have looked for one.

EDIT - Erm, I must be getting senile but didn't the older Imprezas use the circular design on a bit of samco etc when going aftermarket? Pretty sure they didn't bolt directly to the IC like my age onwards? So yes, you could use one for the older design imps if memory serves. Sorry about that.
