ok so im getting my H&S sports cat fitted next saturday before an andy f remap and was wondering when thermal wrapping it do i cover the whole downpipe including the cat it self?

Yes the whole lot....... cats work better the hotter they are,and wrapping retains the heat in the pipe,keeps it away from the engine bay and lessens heat soak to a degree,plus hot gasses flow faster than cooler ones so can help gas extraction........
