Default Scoobyclinc's swedish "ICE DRIVER' race car (Now with vid)

Scoobyclinic are pleased to anounce That our Ice driver project Has arrived safe and sound in sweden for a Hard few months of driving.

Here's a snippet taken from the "ice driver' website :-

Latest News
01/12/07 - You asked for it, so here it is - four wheel drive and turbo power.

Here at Ice Driver, we know from experience that the studded tyres we use on the lake give levels of grip that most drivers will not believe until they've tried it. But that doesn't stop people asking what it's like in a four wheel drive car, though, so here it is.

Thanks to the guys at Scooby Clinic, ( Scooby Clinic | The UK's Largest Independent Subaru Specialists | 01246 590 807 - Chesterfield S42 6QX ) there will be a specially prepared Subaru Impreza Turbo on the lakes with Ice Driver this year.

There are many variants of Impreza so the Scooby Clinic guys gave us the benefit of their expertise. We've settled on a Japanese spec Type RA (Race Altered) model. This Japan only model has a short gearing that runs to just 120 mph for strong acceleration. Coupled with lightweight panels, no sunroof or air conditioning and some Scooby Clinic tweaks like KYB dampers, Eibach springs, a loud de-cat exhaust and a custom remapped ECU and we'll be good to go with more than 300 Bhp. Should give the Ice Driver BMW a run for it's money....

WE ALSO ADDED

Full bolt in safety devices roll cage

Over ride master kill switch

Reduced thickness front and rear Brake calipers and disc's (for snow rally spec thin wheels)

safety devices 6 point harness's.

What we also should mention The problems we had mapping the car, As you can imagine there's not many V-power stations in sweden.

So the solution was to map the car on 95 ron fuel which makes the car's bhp output impressive

Enough text.. here's some pic's

The Day the car arrived from japan

And after "STICKY STUFF'S' or SHY TOT'S handywork

And the last few The impreza in it's natural home SIDEWAYS!!
