Default Looking for advice !!

Hello guys , i posted this in the styling topic , however no one has reply'd

I am trying my luck in this section of the forum as it looks to have the most hits.

Thanks again.

post went ............

Evening Gents. I wonder if i can fit the larger scoop to my STI 03 Bug eye.
The one on there is the smaller version and i would like to fit a origional
subaru larger scoop as a direct replacement.

Will it fit straight on where the old one blots off.

Regards in advance.

Chris.

I wish I could help you Chris but I hav just come back from the Evo scene and wanted some help myself on this forum about a sti and all I get is 1 reply which is poor compared to the MLR (LancerRegister) which is more helpful on any topic.

You cannot fit as a direct replacement as they are a different shape but you can buy an aftermarket one that will fit from places like ets racing.

TBH mate you might be best off sourcing one e.g. scoobyclinic, scoobyworld etc and asking them if it will fit. Otherwise I'm sure someone will be along soon who has done the same - could try a thread search, amazing what you can find

Do you have bug- or blob-eye. Bugs did not make it into 03?

bugeye has round headlights as in your pic
blobeye has oval(ish) light as fitted to 03 - 06 models

you have the right size scoop on there for your car, although a bigger aftermarket one can be added

Yours must have been a late registered one as most bugeyes are on 01/02/52 plates

<---- veiw mine
