Default x5 bmw 4.8is

Had a bit of a play from the lights the other day...empty road and it was close in 1st gear but once into 2nd and the third it was good night vienna mr X5 but i must admit i think it would have seen a WRX off.£60k,s worth of car at 350bhp and a 0 to 60 quoted at 5.9 sec.Once he had seen my tail lights i let him go and returned to mr sensible again

Newbie!!!..third scooby since 2000 and in the last seven years, believe me theres loads of cars that will take a bit of beating from standstill and quite a few more that will kick a scoobys *** once moving but who would have thought a twenty ton pile of german steel would be any contest
by the way i was in my my06 STi type uk

Nice to see someone not afraid to admit having 'fun' in their Scoob. Having a little blast and outright racing are totally different things but seems we have a few members who object to you putting your foot past halfway on the 'loud' pedal!

That's just because they think they're above other scooby owners. Lets get something straight, do we not buy scoobys for their on road capabilities rather than their track times? So why should we not use them where it is appropriate and safe? Fair play for having a little play with a 4.8! I've had a play with a Q8 thingy, I had pulled up into the lane next to him and he must of thought I wanted to race. He launched hard, but by the time I from a rolling start was in second, he was behind me All fun and games.

Cayenne Turbo S's are nippy. The brakes are HUGE!

Spoked them in my old Silvia though and was a good laugh after.

Just hope my scoob will be up for a challenge when i pick it up.
