Thumbs up Whats Your...

BHP?

Stuck my Audi RS4 estate on the Dyno Demon rolling road (www.dynodemon.co.uk) today and it pushed out over 470bhp, pretty well chuffed to be honest. My Mk1 Golf pushed out 300bhp, which is awesome considering it only weighs 800kg!!

Interested to see what everyone else has managed?

P.S. > This is my first post!!

I managed 900bhp, but I cheated and stuck my mapper's car on the rollers instead.

What motor have you got in the golf, & was it an easy conversion?
Only asking as I've got a mk1 as well.

have got a low mileage 1.8 golf rallye engine with t3 garret turbo and intercooler. car has 5 speed gearbox from corrado g60 and brake conversion off mk3 vr6. jabbasport ecu remap, big valve jabbasport head, forge dump valve, big end bearings, supersport coilovers.

awesome little car, the most fun i've ever had in a car.

most of the main work was done by the previous owner, but i don't think it was too much of a big job.

Sounds good. May think about a conversion next year as I've just found out the Mrs is expecting number three Has it got power steering?
