Default What a great Gizzmo! shift light with launch control and Defi style features!

What a great gizzmo! We were offered these nifty gadgets the other day and thought we would give one a try before putting some into stock. We were simply amazed at just how good these really are! Obviously we all know what a shift light does and why they are used but the Gizzmo tach recall has a couple of brilliant features above and beyond a normal shift light that we must tell you about! The shift light works like most others with first and second stage flashing LED’s but now for the trick bit, The Shift light connects to your factory Dash and controls the rev counter displaying the ECU’s set rev limit (pre set by user on Gizzmo), Second stage rev limit, fist stage rev limit all indicated on your OE Rev counter with the needle moving! The opening ceremony when you first start the car is very trick and looks very similar to the Defi opening sequence. The unit also records peak trip revs and at the touch of a button your rev counter will display the maximum revs reached on that current trip. The final feature is also very good as the shift light works in unison with the Gizzmo fully adjustable launch control system, allowing awesome starts and flat shifting! Now for the best bit the price! All these features for just

Tach Recall shift light £97.88 + VAT
£150+vat fitted
Launch interface £93.62+vat
fitted POA
All instock ready to go!
Check out the video (poor quality as it was done on my phone) but you can clearly see the rev counter moving and the Shift light flashing

Step one: Ignition on, rev counter shoots up and displays ECU’s set rev limit (user preset on Gizzmo)
Step two: needle drops to second and the main preset set rev limit + indicator flashes blue
Step three: Needle drops to first stage preset rev limit + indicator flashes orange
(ignore the beeping sound on this video as it is a defi controller and nothing to do with the shift light)

Gizzmo Tach Recall Shiftlight
The Gizzmo's Tach Recall Shiftlight is a unique dual stage shiftlight, which incorporates the features of many aftermarket tachos into any tacho. The Gizzmo Tach Recall Shiftlight allows any tacho to have a peak rpm saved to memory which can be recalled and displayed at any one time, the peak rpm reached during the current trip is available for recall. The shift stages are set using the two-button configuration to move the tachos rpm needle to the desired revs for each individual stage. Upon the ignition being switched on the unit will display peak saved rpm, second stage shiftlight setting and then first stage shiftlight setting, by indicating the rpm position on the tacho, and flashing the corresponding LED's.

Dual Stage Shiftlight, 2 colour, 7 LED's
Fully adjustable: 500-16 000 rpm
simple two button operation
2 Peak RPM Memories recalled via tachometer Shift points set via tachometer
Launch control option available, with the addition of the Gizzmo Launch Interface

Launch control
Gizzmo Launch Interface
Gizzmo's launch Interface integrates with the Gizzmo Tach Recall
Shiftlight to enable the fully adjustable launch control function. The launch control function induces sequential misfire events at the desired rpm set by the user.
In a turbo application, having the throttle open while inducing misfire
increase the velocity and density of exhaust gases, allowing the turbo to spool up and generate boost with load. This results in boost being
generated before launching and therefore allowing a vehicle to launch with considerably more power. The ignition cut is clutch activated
allowing flat changing (the ability to change gear without removing your foot from the throttle). With the clutch engaged the rpm will pull back to the launch rpm previously set by the user in order to avoid over reving, this results in the vehicle not coming off boost while moving through the gears.
Launch control can benefit natural aspirated cars by giving a consistent launch rpm for best results every time, and enable quicker gear changes through flat changing.
Fully adjustable launch control
Adaptive auto detect software
Interface for 1-6 coil application
Fuzzy Logic technology
Sequentially induced misfire

Compatible Vehicles:
All Nissans

All Mazda's accept Rotaries
All Honda's
All Mitsubishi's

£400+ for a flashing light that tells you when to change gear and looks "trick" when you start the car up?

It also hold the revs for you to give you a form of launch control?

I'm not too sure
