Look in the mirror. Assuming you have the time, it's hardly rocket science

I had my Defi's fitted at Dastek in Dalgety bay. They were even happy to do the custom fitting of the gauge in the passenger air vent.

A little over £100 IIRC for the 3 in the pod.

EDIT: They also retro fit the controller unit in the cupholder as well as other nifty gauge work.

Don't sell yourself short.
There is not a lot you can screw up fitting your own gauges.
worst case I can think off is with oil pressure/temp, not tightening up the oil feed and losing all your oil.
What gauges? Make and type?

Milsport

**SUPER POWER FLAME SUITE ON**

I know defis are the best etc etc but they cost a bomb ... far more than I can afford and these look pretty good. The one I want the most accuracy on is oil temp (so I know when I can floor it) and I'm guessing even if Defis are better there cant be a great deal in it ... it's a thermometer after all ...

I can **** up putting a jumper on .... removing/cutting into pipes etc etc no thank you ... for £100 I'll pay someone else who will have done it before.

I'm the same, i'd rather do something else with my time and have the comeback if something is not right.

Those milsport are ok i guess, they make me think Rolex from Turkey though. Only 52mm gauges though and the pods are 60mm, might lOOk "funny".

All they keep mentioning is "Defi style" this/that.

For the sake of about £200. I'd rather save up and wait until i can get the real deal.

Not a difficult job and you can probably do it yourself as Alcazar and others have told you and there are plenty people here to hold your hands.
If you are in the Darlington area I can help you but any Auto Electrical company close by you will be able to do it. If you are not going to do it yourself get a price and make sure the company knows where they are putting the senders.

Alternatively, you could get these: XyberAutos 3 gauges for 90 quid (plus possibly import duty)

I think, although I'm not 100% sure, that prosport are a reputable gauge company

They look ok as well.

As far as the 52mm V 60 ... my intention is to get a mate of mine who's a steel fabricator to knock up a plate to sit in front of the 60s hols dropping it to 52mm. Should look nice in black with nice bolts !!

Weren't these in a group buy at some point, with a lot of people receiving faulty gauges.

Not toooo worried as they'll be under warranty and as long as the "plumbing" is all done I can fit it "dash end".
