Default Codes for Version 2 STI RA and WRX RA

Going to look at a car this evening.

Seller reckons it's a version 2 STI RA but I know it isn't as it doesn't have the roof scoop.

To me, looks very much like a WRX RA but could be a standard WRX for all I know.

Does anyone have the codes so I can check for sure.

Many thanks

Chris

Had a quick look on there but couldn't find the codes for a wrx.

From the vin plate, it does appear to be an sti ra, but there's no roof scoop

Also has fog lights and no covers.

Don't "have a quick look" mate, spend some time & get to know the RAs.

Its your money so you need to be sure what you're getting.

No roof vent, no DCCD means not STi.

Fogs & covers are easily added/removed

Great link, exactly what I was after

According to that on 95 cars the code of GC8C47D relates to both the wrx ra and the wrx sti ra. As mine doesn't have the roof scoop it must therefore be a wrx ra? Dash appears to have the lights for the dccd but there's no switch near the handbrake any more as it has all been changed to accomodate the new age 6 speed gearbox that is fitted.

Aye will be the WRX RA, if the dash has the lights then it probably had DCCD installed at some point in it's life.
