Are all bugeye black and upto 2007 models have the same black met colour?
As far as I know the buyeye is a met black(blue/black).

The reason is i am buying a 2007 rear bumper to replace my cracked 2002-Bugeye.

 

No, I think there's been a few blacks over the years and they're all different.

 

cheers for info. looks like the 2007 black bumper i found on ebay is unlikely to match my 02 black colour.

Just to add also, you may need to change the rear light clusters as these changed with the bugeye

 

Yep the blobeye black mica has gold flecks in it. Mind you, you can only notice when its immaculately clean and the sun is shining directly on it, a combination of events which happens around 5 minutes of every year!

 

MY02 Black has blue flecks, MY03 black has gold flecks
