were can i get a twin scroll turbo from? for my 03 sti jdm and the headers???

ahh chuck a bigger one on then, be similar price to a twinscroll i'd have thought. nice sc42 turbo lol

tryed to have it remapped today but was a nightmere because it has wrong turbo so really i need the twin scroll?

shouldn't make any difference if its being mapped, who was mapping it?

if the turbo's on there, fitted correctly and any supporting mods required added then you can have it mapped for any turbo you want

gt motorsport in stoke, dint gain no power aswell, as the ecu is set for twinscroll so it was hard to do done a custom map. it was over boosting before but i not now.

ecu set for twionscroll? eh? the custom map will take into acount what turbo it is, twinscroll or not, unless i've been missinformed, so something sounds fishy to me

Not your day is it mate, bet your regretting Impreza ownership right now eh???

From what I understand, for it to have had a non twin scroll turbo fitted to it, it would have needed an up pipe and a downpipe to suit. If its got these parts then there shouldn`t be an issue with anything else. Take it to a specialist

think i will just get rid now its done my head in, the remap only cost 300 but because i said i want happy he only charged me 200, he is a good mapper heard about his mappings before so thats why i went there dont no why i dint gain no power took 4 hours to sort it, only had the car 2 months so goin to the guy who i bought it off and demand money iam well pissed, here is the ebay item that i bought the car from 120193821538 have a look he said it was a twin scroll??

V8Jdm just had a look at the Ebay number .The sti strut brace is missing and the top pipe going to the Ac pump looks just like the way the uk Sti is plumed there .If you look at a Jdm sti ac pump pipe work to a uk Sti ac pump pipe work different angle and position for refi fill up feed

he might have thought it did mate, if i sold my car tomorrow i would say in the ad what turbo it should have not what was actually on it, as i couldn't tell one turbo from another. could you get a pic of it and post it up someone will soon tell you what it is

i know mine is a jdm as been to prosport and they put the chassis number in there computer and it is a jap, but it must of had a new top half out the uk?????

Thats the strut brace on the newage Jdm sti its standard and if you look at the ac compessor pipe work on a Jdm sti to a uk sti the refill nozzle on a Jdm is in a different postion to the uksti .

yeh doin my head in, the engines look the same as mine i think? have you seen my engine pics on ebay?

To the OP - what RPM does the boost come in? My car's a twin scroll & it comes in at 2-2500 RPM. UK STi's tend to come on boost higher than this, say 3500-4000 RPM.

hi guys just found out my engine is a uk sti thanks for helpin me out guys just trying to get money off the guy now he not rippin me off ,

my car still has a little problem what i need to get sorted before i sell, if iam driving and i put my foot down but the revs arnt hight it feels like its holding back like the boost is trying to come in but if i keep my foot down it clears up when revs get high anyone no??? dint show up on a diagnostic, said its the coils?????

tbh you need to find out exactly whats been done to it, and sounds like you need to open a grevance with ebay due to it not being as advertised

since you have had a bad few finds on this car !! I would add an MD321h turbo !! It will give you cracking power once mapped better than a mapped twin scroll turbo and it will be cheaper than trying to add the twin scroll stuff back

just spoke to the seller he is saying take me to court then you wont get nout out of me, he said coz i dint win the auction i cant do ****, but its still an add so think will get trading standards on to it, or might go and see him and so on.

if I were you I would take prints of the add before he deletes it ??? so you have proof of what was advertised
