I like this bit.

"i would put another mot on but i cant afford it and as ive dropped the price considerably there should be no question."

What that translates too is i can`t afford to get it through an MOT as so much needs doing to make it roadworthy

It's also funny that he does not mention the mileage in the ebay part of the ad, yet simple refers to a full service history to 72,000 miles - but what does the speedo say I wonder?

Was the Prodrive kit not including an ECU as well, therefore having an additional 550 quid for a remap would be pointless? Or have I got this wrong?

Drives me mad when I see half decent looking cars for sale, and the ad is written in text speak or with no punctuation - lets face it, how many of us would consider buying a car which is advertised like that ???

My thoughts exactly. Probs 100k plus! The bodykit etc puts me straight off also.

Actually there are quite a few things you could imagine from reading the ad :

1) I bought this car and didnt realise how much the insurance would be, after finding out nobody will insure me as I'm only 17 I have been driving uninsured for the last 3 months. Unfortunately the police stopped me and gave me a producer, so its either sell the car or have it crushed.

2) I bought this 3 months ago after getting starry eyed looking at the max power bodykit. Unfortunately the car underneath the shiny plastic was a complete 5hitter and has no chance of passing an MOT without major mechanical work, hence I am trying to fob it off on some other gullible fool.

3) The salesman told me the Impreza was quite good on petrol, but after running it for 3 months I have a debt the size of a third world country so its either this or sell a kidney.

4) ****, dad found out what I had bought when I nicked his credit card - he says I have to sell it as quick as possible or he's writing me out of his will.

saburu

And another thing.. god, I didn't think I'd ever say this about THAT spoiler OR an Impreza.. but does that spoiler look too small?

Shame about the SL's - because I really like those wheels when they're the right size for the car they're on.

Funny as F***! Definetly garanteed, although the age of said slappers may come into question...but what the hell if your a chav those "rules" are out the window anyway!

Daftest thing is the MOT - how much would you pay for that car without an MOT ? - me I'd be looking to spend £2 - £3K tops as who knows what needs doing ( add together the cost of new discs, pads, shocks plus some other mechanical parts and the bill could be huge ) - it would be a punt as if the car was really knackered and needed loads doing for the MOT it wouldnt be worth having.

So if the car is in as good nick as he reckons and will sail through, spending £40 on getting the MOT done would add around £3K to the value of the car !

Not sure if I'm missing something, but those don't look like WRX seats to me.

Those seats were an option on the WRX instead of the sports recliners.
