Default can i put a turbo on my 99 impreza sport?

hi iv got a 1999 2.0 sport impreza does n e 1 know if can put a turbo on it?or n e more performance upgrades n e 1 can think of i wud really appreciate. cheers

No way is it worth the hassle !
Wait till you can afford the insurance and buy a turbo then.

Unless you have thousands invested in "bodykit, etc" and like the looks of yours.... an insurance company won't like it one bit.

cheers mate, it aint the insurance thats the prob jus had the car few years and not keen on getting rid

you can, but theres so many other parts you'll need to do its not financialy viable to do it, once lal the parts are change the insurance will be more than a standard uk turbo anyway.

best thing sell it and buy a turbo

Brakes, gearbox, suspension, ecu, intercooler, etc etc. All this is needed on top of cost of the turbo. It just isn't worth it mate.

if you`re still not sure mate check out .:ImprezaSport.net:. they`ll advise the same although I believe there is at least one on there who has done it

buy a write off turbo car and swap all the bits over to yours! loads of hasle and money but a nice project all the same
