Any info would be much aprreciated folks....

You'll have to speak to the dealers direct in Europe for that price, other options are going through a broker such as
litimports, or keyring cars.
Do a search on google.co.uk for the above names as I can't remember the web address of the top of my head.
Average Euro import from the above is about £16,600.

Had a look at a pre registered Bug eye @ Tradesales yesterday. It looked very nice in WR Blue, only had 1.6 miles on the Clock, it came with a WRX plate and aircon but no warranty for I think it was £17695.
It was not a Euro car, but it was not Jap spec so I think it came from Malta or Cyprus. Had a look under the bonnet and there was some coolant which had leaked from somewhere. I had a think about it, but as it is not a EU car with Subaru warranty and not JDM spec also considering it is a MY01 and it's pre registered I thought it was overpriced by about £1K.
I have been thinking of ordering directly a Euro STi myself but came across a WRX for just over £12000 plus vat and a few other things needed, such as Cat 1 etc. If you look on the car-import guide website at www.car-importguide.co.uk and follow a few links you can find out the prices in a few European countrys.
Also if someone would just get back to me about there P1 they want to sell quickly I might be able to make my mind up.

BL - how long did your WRX take from order to delivery?. Looking at importing a WRX - was going to go through Keyring, but why not deal direct if they use this guy anyway?
Had a look on their website - but it's in flemish! Who do I speak to there - what were they like to deal with?
Ta!

Jon1T - Ive waited 5 months for my wrx. Keyring fee was 195 + 400 delivery which means it arrives at you door on a truck ready to drive off - less hassle.
I have to sell an s reg turbo to pay for it if anyone knows anyone whos inetersted.
