The Cheeky Little F****R
Feel a little bit guilty.
This morning @ the end of a Dual Carriageway, in my mirror spot a little car moving pretty quickly,overtaking/undertaking and joins me at the lights.
They are on Red, & it goes from 2 lanes into 1 after that.
He is in the outside lane with his Girlie revving the nuts off a Yaris something or other with a Red Badge on it.
Is it worth the V Power??
To my great emarrassment it was, and the look of dissapointment from Mr & Mrs Yaris as I disappeared, I could hear their engine screaming it's head off.
I slowed down & let them overtake at the Round About to make them feel better, they looked the other way as they passed.
Sorry to have spolit their day and, for being childish.
Regards
Alan MaC

When I have someone trying to get in my boot, the foot goes down (a little). Childish I know, but satisfying all the same. They will spend £20 on a shed & put a 5k audio setup in it.
2l Turbo, priceless.

You should never feel guilty. I would have slowed down and let them pass and then done it again just to rub it in lol.
If he wants to drive like that you do it alone not with gf in tow.

Sometimes i like to give them a glimmer of hope by just taking it easy for a fraction of a second, then when you can see their eyes light up just take off.
This is all mood dependant of course.

I usually power just about enough so that my front bumber is slightly ahead of their front bumper and continue until their tiny littlel engine can't cough out anymore power or the passenger pulls out a gun then i get all my 327 horses out and run like hell.

LOL at Alan - we're all been there mate !
I find that as soon as you go for it in a 300bhp + Scoob, the chavved up Corsas and their ilk give up remarkably quickly !
Still, you don't need a fast car to have fun - not even a good handling car !
One Saturday when I was 19 I was in Edinburgh centre driving my 1300 cc 56bhp 1978 "jamaica yellow" Vauxhall Chevette, modified only by the 12 inch "Garfield the cat" sticker pasted onto the passenger door. As I waited, another young lad in a Chevette came up to the lights, by my side (two lanes). We grinned at one another, the lights changed, pedals went to the metal and...............we probably reached about 40mph by the next set of lights ! (I won - got a better start, or pehaps I was pushing out a mighty 60bhp !).
Still both got stopped by the unmarked cop car that had been behind us all along - was let off with a warning (they used to do that in those days ).
Ahhhh, memories !

Sitting next to them knowing they already lost is pricelss, even more because they actually beleive they have chance, let them have a glimmer of hope with half a car length and then scream past them like they are standing still, see someone outpower you totally when you thought your car was fast.. that hurts
