Default Radiator cooling panels?

Has anyone got one of these panels and do they do anything in terms of performance or are they just dress up parts?

ive got one on my car, a Greddy one.. i havent seen any difference nor in tempereatures nor in performance, so i guess they are just dress up parts..

i have one of these buddy

subaru impreza perrin radiator shroud cover on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-Feb-08 15:42:16 GMT)

well,actually i have 2 but one is going,as it doesnt fit in with my plans
