Default 3000 for STI ALLOYS?

Hi ,
Against the opinion of most on here I'm gonna buy a new STI next week. Most pics of the 2008 sti feature 18 inch BBS alloys....... these are a 3 grand option!! eh? I dont know about alloys but figure they look good but 3000 quid? Is there much of an argument for buying them?

Bugging that in usa they can get a package : bbs alloys and fog lights for 2000 dollars !

Bugging we dont get option of recaro seats

Bugging we dont get starter button option.... and before you argue I'd definately go faster with a starter button.

Anyway What about those alloys ... thanks

Oh extremely bugging that subaru uk decided not to give us the option of black paint either.

So the alloys?

Thanks

I thought there was Standard STi and "Top Spec" or EU called "Sports pack"

Which included, Sat Nav, 18"'s Recardos and Start button :rolleyes.

You seriously need 18"s on the 2008 Sti, 17"s and those 50 series tyres are Pants for handling IMHO

Not sour grapes, just common sense. Unfortunately people, especially Subaru owners, lose all sense of realistic value when the opportunity to show off arises. How much better is a £1k Louis Vuitton handbag than a £30 one ? How much better is a £400 STi plastic splitter than a £20 Seat one ? Fools and their money

I have aswell and totally agree

I would be VERY wary of what Spec the Car is (Top Spec may not be compareble between different sources) could make a BIG difference although prices look very simular IMHO

EU/UK Importers top spec £26,995 OTR
EU/UK car warehouse top spec £24,995 OTR

UK Dealer standard Spec £24,995 OTR
UK Dealer top spec £26,995 OTR

JDM bottom spec £24,995 OTR and vaying spec upto £28,995 OTR
JDM top spec £26,995 OTR (PCM)
