Yup, a search should answer your question. Not well regarded on here There's a few other Scooby and import specialists around the Leeds/Bradford area with better reputations, but I've never dealt with any so I'll leave it to others to recommend.

I always recommend looking through the FOR SALE FORUM on here. Enthusiast cars are usually very well maintained and cared for, and buying privately saves you spending the dealer mark-up. You can click peoples profiles to view their previous 100 posts to get an idea what they're like and how the car has been treated. Avoid low post-count sellers as they may be traders chancing a sly ad or people trying to hide a dodgy past behind a new username. Pistonheads is worth a look too.

Steer clear, try these Jap Performance, they are in Bradford so not a million miles from Keighley.

I looking at buying a Type R last week... then i got an insurance quote.. that ended it for me.

I'm now looking at a hawkeye as I can insure a 2006 2.5 STI for £580 FC a type R was over £800. Stuff that for a laugh.

And that trade centre... i dont know how its still in business (is it a front for something else????). I first heard of then over 7 years ago... over the years i have seen a post per week about this place on numerous car forums.... Not a good word has been said.

as others have said, aviod these guys like the plague.

havent been myself, but from all the negative feedback re. damage repaired cars, awful customer assistance, dodgy backgrounds, refusal of test drives etc, i wont be going any time soon either

leeds bradford area... could try scoobybits rotherham. jase has recently expanded and has a few cars for sale, uk and import. as said above wrc sales are good too in your local area.

KTC are OK for brand new/almost new cars ... if you're looking for a £6k motor GO ELSEWHERE.

Again, like Rob, I heard about them over 7 years ago. They had a bad reputation then, and it only seems to have downhill from there.

Do yourself a favour and dont make any commitments at all to KTC .

Customer service is terrible...cars are overpriced and rough as hell.

My mates car was from there, and after a little tlc it was an awesome car for the money! And 12 months after he owned it a specialist garage looked it over and said it wasnt in bad nick for a 15 year old car!

In my opinion only go there if yoknow lots about the car your buying, so you can weed out the sheds they have!

the white type r that is on there for 6k (the one that in the picture has a price tag of 6495) has been there for AGES, i looked at that online months and months ago. the fact its still there probably means theres something wrong with it.

Any time m8. Sent you a pm with my mob no so you can phone and ask as much info as you want. Good friends now with the owners and they are absolutley brilliant guys.

The first car i bought from them was a Nissan Silvia S14. It looked stock apart from chassis and drivechain stuff. urned out to be a belter of a car with a fully built Tomei engine in it. They were also more than willing to provide me with parts and aero stuff like bumper etc and do all the fitting. Just so easy to buy from.

My scoob has een brilliant and i would not look back now. Its my favourite car so far now.

Hi Mate

Been there, be a bit careful some of there cars are crash repairs, i looked a black JDM for 13K and I'm sure that the boot was out of line, when pushed a bit further he did say that it had some sort of repair done to it as the import paperwork stated it was not perfect when it came in.

Try Pistonheads, but be prepared to travel..
