Default Insurance re-claims/shoddy work/ another garage....

this time last yr, a woman collided into the side of me, cool, thats all been sorted, the repairs were carried out by a crap firm in gloucester, had nothing but lies and delays from them on the reapirs/i was told it would be ready say, monday, monday would come and go, no car, i went down there the wednesday and it was still unpainted etc etc, so had loads of lies told etc, anyhoo, there work was crap, since its been a yr and a winter there jobs have com eundone.

1st off, they glued my splash guard on and this came off last week, removing the paint with the adhesive, seems the paint was the only thing the glue stuck too.so i now have a 3" x 1" scab of bare metal on the bottom of the wing, plus glue residue, tigerseal it looks like.

seconndly, they sprayed my side skirt with the splashguard in place, so i now have a whopping black part to my sideskirt where the spalshguard was, cheers guys.

and lastly, which has really miffed my boat, where the damage was done to the sideskirt area, the impact also damaged the sill, WHICH THEY NEVER FIXED, i still have a dented sill grrr !!!!!!!!!

im gonna phone the isnurance company tomorrow, but am not taking it back to the 1st place that did the work, NO WAY !
can it be taken to another place paid for by the insurance ? i paid £250 excess as well for the work !!

grrrrr

Why did you pay your excess - or not get it back - as you were not at fault?

roundabout incident, buggers deemed it a 50/50 split claim,my excess is £500 but got half back on settlement,no witnesses etc, my word against hers, she blamed me, i blamed her, lookin at the damage, it was blatantly her fault, but hey, half back was better than nothing.

it just bugs me how they hid their bodges, under the side skirts etc, they knew i wouldnt take them off to inspect etc, so didn tfix the damaged sill.

it was only because the splashguard fell off and i removed the skirts to get them sprayed i noticed the damage, so i was gonna let the porrly painted skirts slide, but not now, after not fixing the sill

10 yr guarantee the insurance company said as well ha ha, i dont even think they replaced the door, its funny how the holes for the alarm solenoids etc have the mistakenly drilled holes that arent needed
