it lets your engine cool the turbo down when you turn off your engine but your engine dose not turn off it runs for as long as you have set the "turbo timer" to run you can take the key out alarm the car and go shopping it will run for 1/2/3 mim them turn off the engine

Sounds like a great idea, saves me sitting about waiting for it to cool down, while my birds moaning "why have we got to wait around everytime you want to turn the car off".

Ill be getting one of these,do you know how much they are and are they easy to fit

Thumbs down

Check with your insurance company first - some do not like them. Also, it can be costly to get them wired in.

Pointless, as usually you will do 2-3 mins of slow driving after a blast so you would never need to let it idle for ages.......!

Or like a friend of mine with one, stand next to it waiting nervously until it switches off. Pointless, I agree.

Had one on my first Impreza, never got another timer. As above, pointless.

Its a gimmick.....but a good one lol. As mentioned above a lil device that lets you remove the key and lock the car with the engine still running for a predetermined time. I have mine set to 30 secs, but have recently found myself turning the car off early as its already cooled down when im home. Even using the turbo just a little bit wont make it all hot. Maybe if your at a track day, you will experience a hot turbo......then you should leave your car to cool down, and a turbo timer helps if you have somewhere to be.....

Totally pointless.......but i like it lol
