Default 20p Scooby

Was just about to put my 20p into coffee machine at work today when I noticed a strange 'tails side'. On closer inspection it was an Isle of Man one with a depiction of the Rally on the back...............with a Scooby closely followed by some other unknown - must have been the EVO as it was behind

I was well impressed. Anyone else seen one of these coins?

That's the baby. Can make out the ironing board on the rear of the following car now - my eyesight !!

Mine is the ultra-rare 1997 edition - worth at least 21p

I've got a couple knocking around somewhere. You can have the 2 for the knockdown price of a fiver plus £1 for P&P

I bought one nice and cheap from ebay, just under a £1 including delivery, then I found one in my change about 2 days later! Then my cousin gave me one she found. (Although I can't actually think what Ive done with 2 of them, must be somewhere nice and safe) If you do check them on ebay Ive seen them go for as high as £10 !!

They're in common circulation on the Isle of Man where they were issued. On the first SIDC Manx trip back in 2002 someone (I forget who - but thanks!) stuck £20 in the change machine at the hotel and we sat picking them out as souvenirs

Blimey. (Dan makes mental note to stare very hard at his change when next at the bar).
