If the dealer damaged your wheels - get the ar5ewipe to pay for two new ones - and a proper suspension realingnment too.....

Question

Can anybody give me the names & no's of any good wheel refurbishers in North London, Hertforshire or Kent area. I remember someone recommending a co. in Kent but can remember the name. The dealer kindly clunked the kerb with both left side wheels on the after service test drive.

Also any recommendations for 4 wheel alignment? Powerstation is a bit far

No it's not.....

Go to PS, spend the 100 quid and get their "bump steer" mod

Got the bumpsteer mod - it is excellent. The dealer hit the kerb with both left hand wheels. He has set up the tracking to the Powerstation settings but it doesn't feel right. I have got a feeling that their equipment is a bit cr*p/basic.

Chris

Thanks for the info, hope to see you at donno on the 13th Jan. Dave I agree with you, I am going to ask for 1 replacement as a minimum as the wheel is badly kerbed and I don't want it repaired, the other is minor.

Cool

Diamond Styling are the best, somewhere in NW London.

They aint cheap, but who gives a toss if the dealer is paying?

If you are still looking there is a small place near Valey primary School in Bromley, Kent.

I'll get the number at the weekend if you want it.

Barge.

Thanks very much - I have now booked the wheels into Spit & Polish as they will pick up the wheels and drop them off to a local tyre place. I would like the number though for future refernce as they are v local.

Cheers

Thumbs up

Ive just dropped a pair of speedlines in to Lepsons today (girlfriend's and kerbs = owch)
they charge £35 + VAT per wheel for an acid bath, remachine (+weld if required) respray and oven bake. Ive had all four done in the past and they were brilliant.

Its best to get them all done if you want gold as their gold is a deeper gold than the usual speedline gold.
cheers
Dan
