Default Wing Reflectors 02 Sti

Has anyone removed the big orange reflectors on a 02 V8 STI??

Want to replace mine with carbon fibre ones which ive bought but am concerned about removing the old ones as they seem to be very securely fixed on and dont want to damage the wing!

Are they stuck on or attached with some kind of fixing?

Any advice would be appreciated!
Cheers

you should be able to prise them up from the bottom upwards. i used a flat edged screwdriver to remove mine, just be careful not to touch paint.

I remember doing this a while back and i posted the very same question as you did.

No tools required !!

They aint bonded with any glue , just a few plastic locators , push from the bottom up , when it moves up a bit you can manover it out.

was the first thing i got rid of on my scoob. Dam ugly things !!
