Cool I DID it....My 4th Scooby!!!

I had been looking at Pistonheads for Scoobies for a while now and there are 1000's on there...and only last night i thought about checking Autotrader...and there were loads of Low Mileage Scoobies...one had 9K on the clock one owner and he wanted £12.5k

Went to see this and it just looked amazing..Wife managed to convince me to go for a Blue one..as she thinks she will be driving it.. amm...NO

The sounds had been profesionally fitted at a cost of £4k and it just sounded amazing and looked superb....Will be moddifing it slightly to that i can get the Pram in..somehow Amazingly there was only little bit of rattle from the Boot when the Bass was pump ing..

The car has one owner and on 25K on the clock with full Service History

Mods include: (from what i could see / tell)
  • Blitz Dump Valve,
  • Power Engeneering Power Pack 2 Conversion (can someone tell me more about what this includes and if i can get more power)
All reciepts etc are present...have left a deposit and will be collecting the car hopefully Wednesday \ Thursday...

Running at 335 BHP...

Working on my list of mods...already.. need to get some decent wheels on ASAP...

i am off to the US next week..to do some bargin shopping

Got it for a bargin price...

I'd get rid of all that excess weight in the boot, Impreza's are driving machines not pimping machines! Looks good, finish the exterior off with a front splitter!

Any mods recommendations...as i am creating the Wish list... unsure on how to get the handling side of things working better...think i'l give Powerstation or TSL a ring to see what they recommend...

Also as the car currently has no store chips i will be getting it Armourfended...

Welcome to Armourfend

Thanks for all the comments...nice to be back!

I missed a Scooby for sale that had 9K on the clock....it was selling for £12500....

The one i got has 25K....which i think still os good

Though like i said..anyone looking for a Scooby...keep an eye on Autotrader..for good low mileage examples...

There are 5+ new adds for Scoobies appearing on piston heads every few hours....

I was thinking about the Satge 1 Upgrade from Powerstation:

Stage 1
Rear Adjustable Roll Bar
Anti-Lift Kit
Front Adjustable Roll Bar
4-Wheel Alignment
£460* + VAT

but just called them...really helpfull and did advise to go for the Stage 3

Stage 3 - T25 Spec Kit
AST Sport-Line Suspension Kit
Rear Adjustable Roll Bar
Anti-Lift Kit
Front Adjustable Roll Bar
4-Wheel Alignment
£1450* + VAT

which would work out cheaper in the long run...

but i think at the moment Stage 1 will do me...

If music and blue is your thing, then that's cool.

Black, lighter and faster is more mine.

Shame Sam, i'd convinced myself, but thur. was rushing it.

Welcome back anyway.

Were you thinking about sellin Gaz?
Sent you a PM.
Sorry for the hijack Sam.

Powerstation occasionally offer Group Buys on the Suspension Kits which is what I held out for. I think I got everything for £1000.00 fitted a few years ago and tbh think its a great kit.

See your getting some Defis as well...........spend spend spend

You reckon...i think i could fit a baby in the boot..

From what i can recall i can take out the stuff on the left side as the space behind it is wasted anyhow...

PM sent...though all i can say is shop around and make sure you check Autotrader's site...allot of nice ones on there...

Though am in the US at the moment...Shopping away...$2 to a Pound... Everything here is the same price as the UK...with the exception of the currency sign...

Got my 16GB Ifone... all unlocked and working..

Juts got me a 3 Defi Gauges and a Control Unit...300 quid...

Quick Question:
Can i put a Boost controller in my car..? Is it needed..? Reason for me asking is that the guy has offered it to me at a good price..but i dnt want to bring it back unless i could use it...if not now maybe at a later date...

For my care specs see the 1st post...

Thanks

Welcome back mate,
However i never do get all this obsession some ppl have with ICE, that boot looks shi*e IMO and the big speaker behind the Ski/Armrest is brutal.

how many times are you walking along the street and hear all the tunes pumping??? first thought that springs into your mind????? Co*k!!!!!!

Apart from that looks nice and i am sure you will enjoy spending to get it up to scratch mate.

If its already pumping out 335Bhp has it had Fuel pump done etc, thought anything over 300 mark recommends this????.

Good uck in the US though, lucky sod.

People that have tunes on in the street yes, but there is nothing better than volleying it down a country road with your favouite tunes blasting down your ears, i even have "driving" cd's. coming from an appreciation point of view that system, if its set up right, will sound amazing! The bass from that sub, providing its got a decent amp driving it, will be awesome!

genesis amps, what looks like pheonix gold crossovers and a jlw7 sub...
****'s dont spend that sort of money on what is essentially the very best of the best when it comes to sound!
Why do people feel the need to be rude about someone's new car/pride and joy.....

Personally i couldnt drive a car with poor sounds, and anyone with standard speakers will know that they are ****e!!
