No-one knows where to get one?

There's been plenty of threads of people removing their d/v too.

Make one, or get one made, all you need is a little sheet of aluminium cut to the shape od the base plate of the DV. and then use original bolt holes to hold it in places.. A bit of sealent would probably be a good idea!

It's not a hole it just looks like it in the pic. I can post up better ones if that helps, but not until later tonight.

am i right in thinking that you blank the dv using alu sheet etc, then the big pipe with a bung from forge or somewhere. then theres the little 8mm or 6mm hose does that get blanked off as well.?? i could use a bolt for that no probs. then i get the fluttery noise?

The blanking plates that Playsatan had didn't fit. So i'm not gonna bother doing this. I just wanted to hear what it would be like.

Hey, PS, give me a nod when you're gonna start the key on that project. It lOOks an awesome beastie.

I think it's more getting back on the throttle again, as everything has to wind back up.

it jerks a little when changing gear and you do get a tiny bit of lag but its not that noticable i have a full tsl firestorm exhaust so you cant hear it much at full chat but at about 3k light throttle and then back off it does sound cool

i have just done this now and i am unimpressed to say the least. took ages to find a nice piece of alu sheet took my vta off and made a nice little template bored out my holes for the bolts and attacked with tin snips. everything got filed down. fitted to the car ad you wouldnt even know it was there, quite a nice bit of handy work.

when the car runs no jerkiness if anything runs a little smoother.

which leads to the problem it's not loud enough! i get the nice fluttery sounds between 3-4k revs but it's not rally enough if you knows what i mean. how the **** do i get this louder! remove the resonator thingy in the wing perhaps?? does sound quite cool but the dump valve sound sooooo much louder.

To get the best pigeon noise, you need to remove any restrictions in the pipe work, change ribbed pipes for smooth ones, and fit a dirty great cone filter...
