Hello all .i have an sti 8 ppp i have a simple problem want more power, 400 hp to be exact but dont just want to hike power want quality and reliability what do you think thanks all who answer

speak to Martyn at Alan Jeffery - Engine Tuner they do a 400bhp package for the sti8

Thanks mell ? Sti 8 is good for 420 hp after that it gets messy .

GT30 hybrid turbo, injectors, fuel pump, headers, exhaust, fmic, SimTek ecu.

cant remember it all. LOL

Turbo: MD321H or TD05/20g + Methanol
Headers
fuel Pump
CAIK
3" exhaust
3 port boost solenoid

Those are the general components. Remember you'll be needing better brakes & suspension. Unless you're only going in a straight line.

You're really trying to squeeze every little drop outta that STi.

I was planning methanol a while back, settled for NF. Been contemplated meth again, but i'll be selling the car soon, so it will be just another cost to get it mapped out if the buyer doesn't want it. So decided it's not worth the hastle.

Pop a Simtek on it Gaz and have some switchable maps - you know it makes sense

yes gaz trying the performance friction ones next couple of weeks and some uprated discs on back too with pads too still waiting for the white line black box but not herd anything as a relase date yet

Reliability is relative. It's relative to useage more than output I'd say. We now have plenty of SimTek owners who have switchable maps, and use them wisely!

well yes i know its always taking the car one step closer just ment drivability ie not a massive turbo with loads of lag and trying to preseve car as much as poss ie cooling of oil etc
