400 bhp ???
As above should i or should'nt i ? iv'e got a v4 type r which im hoping to enter into hillclimbs with and the odd track day. just wondering what the general consensus of opion is with reguard to the drivability with 400bhp on tap, bearing in mind that i have the shorter ratio gear box,the engines been rebuilt so the only limitation is the gear box upto about 450bhp but i wanted to keep things within safe limits and try and avoid shelling out for a new box as i quite like the short ratios and think they are appropriate for my intended use..
thanks in advance..

It's something I'm looking at at the moment. I have a 6 speed 'box and also Brembo's so I just need that little bit more power, well 25% or so.
I think that you'll be stuggling with the 'box at that power. Although remember it's torque that kills gearboxes, so if it's all revs then you may get away with 400.
