Prob a silly question guys but im looking at a
classic scoob (94) and i plan to fit new alloys
when i get the car.
It has been lowered 35mm and i was wondering
if you guys recomend 17 or 18 inch rims?
Also if it is the same model of wheel will i notice
a massive differece between the two sizes?
Cheers

I had to roll the arches when putting 18s on my lowered classic. It did lOOk great though.
I think there's an arguement that the 17's handle better.

Depends what are want it for really, for road only use and looks 18's do look awesome. A friend of mine has managed 19"'s on his classic but its for show only. I have 17s and setup HKS coilovers on my wagon and its handles like an absolute demon. Tyres do get spent quite quickly though.

I ran 17's for 60k and then 18's for a further 25k and can honestly say that one didn't handle better than the other for me. The only thing with 18's is that you have to be more carefull around pot holes and near kerbs. If i was to buy another Classic it would be 18's all day long

I used to have a set of Cusco coilovers on my STi2, with a set of 18" PFF7 reps fitted for good measure......I fear I may have spine problems later as a result!!
Absolutely unbelievable to drive on a flat road though!
Now running Eibach coilovers and a set of 2003 STi 17"s, doesn't feel as harsh but still retains a lot of the handling benefits for how I use the car
