I`ve just taken my car to ATS to have the tracking checked because my front os tyre is wearing a lot quicker than ns on the outer edge.
The guy who looked at it has told me that the wheel is a month out of alignment and suspects something to be bent, looking underneath there is clearly a big difference between the left and right link things? which are attached to the end of the arb, the differnce in angles is pronounced. It also looks as if the arb has shifted.
So how do I find out which part is bent? which would be favourite as most likely to bend as a consequence of kerbing the wheel?
The car is a wrx so local dealers are out but can anyone suggest where I might take it to have these bits inspected? i`m in the coventry area.
Any help appreciated.
cheers

I know it doesn't really help you, but in this months Which?, ATS did quite badly in the tests, as they were recommending unncessary work!
Might be worth taking it somewhere with a better reputation!
I'm afraid I only know places in the south.
Good Luck

Get a second opinion, ATS tried to con me with my last car, recommending new front wishbones when they were fine, turned out to be a track rod end that was bent cost me a tenner to sort....I'm not saying all ATS garages would pull a fast one but beware!!
