haha, that is pretty shocking "oh, I crashed, better put the 1.6 engine back in before the insurance company finds out"

Surely this is highly illegal to even sell a car like this knowing what it is, let alone insuring it??

Someone should send them a message saying that they are encouraging fraud and that is illegal .... or e-bay should be alerted?

It's the insurance thing thats get's me, as if you would when ringing around for a quote, its as bad as not having any at all, as if they'd pay out after an accident - do they even make a 1.6 impreza estate?

It's kinda grey legally as you don't have to declare induction only engine size.

Very dodgy as its a dealer selling it - makes you wonder what other BS claims they make about cars they sell :

'lowest mileage Impreza ever - just clocked by us'
'FSH - stamped this morning in our office'
'One owner from new - plus 6 chavs who drove it into the ground'
'Mint - its a 5hitter'
'As New - new front half from one car, new back half from another one'

Will add them to my list of dealers never to consider buying cars from.

Thumbs down

My aunt lives about a quarter of a mile from them and I take my car to hers to wash it on her big driveway. Hallen is a very small villaige on the outskirts of Bristol and whenever I'm there I hear them ragging various Imprezas around the lanes. Check out their website - cheap and ropey cars, dodgy spelling, horrible old lock up unit in a run down little industrial estate.....need I go on? AVOID. It's like Keighley Trade Centre only on a smaller scale and with the inimitable Bristol accent, me babber.

Yep, sent them an e mail pointing out the error of their ways hopefully the will do as I suggested and remove it from e-bay, and hopefully their forecourt too. Tw*t.

used them before, only to buy a carbon spoiler(as they give me a massive part ex on my replica spoiler) wouldnt use again, they fitted it free of charge but butchered my boot drilling diff holes. had to buy another boot because of the rust.
i wouldnt go near again, they dont look professional either. nice one to the people who emailed them but it wont get through to them
