I thought there was two types of scoobys one a wrx and the other a STI which was the quicker,, also i have seen the JDM,,, whats that?? and also Prodrive??? i am sorry for asking silly questions but just want to get a STI type of scooby but have seen sti with also wrx on the boot so not sure what this means, if someone could let me know it would be appricated

If we are talking new age (2001 onwards) then this is what I think. I await corrections.
There is a WRX and a more powerful WRX STi (usually with bigger spoiler and gold wheels). This is a more hardcore version with uprated engine and suspension etc. If it is a UK model then it may say TypeUK on the back.
JDM are cars intended for the Japanese market and imported. These are usually better equipped and sometimes more powerful, but a riskier buy due to unknown histories and it can be a little harder to get some parts and insurance.
Prodrive models (or PPP) have been tweaked using Prodrive designed modifications to give more power and better driveability. Well worth paying extra for, although there are other ways of achieving this without using the Prodrive parts.

doesnt the sti have forged internals and the wrx does not?
and i think the wrx's have a more minimal look about them, as in no big spoiler etcetc
i could be talkin complete b******s but innocent until proven guilty
