Default different slant on the afterburner vortex...

Hi all, bought an afterburner vortex and centre section from boostjunky, (Ross- cheers pal for your help), also big thanks to Alyn (stockcar) for fitting me in so promptly and fitting the zorst at a more than reasonable price.

Anyways, it sounds, in my opinion, just as it should be, nice deep burble and lovely roar/howl when giving it some - certainly not overpowering imho.

But this is the thing, noticed when bringing my old stock exhaust back into the house how much heavier it was than the vortex system and saving weight is obviously a good thing but there doesnt seem to be much emphasis on this factor when you read the positives about this exhaust.

Just thought that i'd mention this.

Regards
Rick

indeed OEM exhausts are alot heavier hench why the saving in weight and fuel consumption are off set by wanting to plant the right to hear the rumble

If i ever get the chance to start modding a similar car to what i have now, weight be will have a big emphasis.

Even my 18's weighed a lot less than the standards.

Titanium exhaust is the way forward. Buddy club and the likes are always light weight materials.
