impreza vs aston martin v8 vantage
followed an aston martin v8 vantage on south lane from the british oak at crigglestone over to netherton. the guy in the aston booted it from the start but the plucky impreza stuck to it like glue. anyone who knows this road will agree that the aston should be no match for the impreza, its very twisty road with a couple a closely linked 90 degree bends. however on the short straight climb up into netherton he floored it again trying to leave me in his wake but alas he couldnt. he turned into the big houses just after the climb, as i passed him i gave him a cheery wave. did i get one back did i b******s.
probably crying into his pimms as i type this!

Or laughing at the fact he can afford an Aston Martin and you can't.
You don't buy an Aston for the speed of the thing. The V8 is not as quick as a 911 Carerra S. You buy an Aston because:-
A) You have impecable taste.
B) You can afford one.
C) You don't follow the sheep and buy a 911
D) Nobody thinks you are an @rse in a Aston
E) The things are pure **** no matter which Aston you buy
F) Not everyone like to drive at maximum attack
G) All the women like an Aston
H) Because of `G` I dare bet he has a better looking woman than you.
In all honesty though, most cars can keep up with faster cars "on paper" when both cars are driven by normal drivers on normal roads.

Quite an achievement for the Aston that......
More than 5 miles without something breaking or becoming disconnected
Maybe it was a replica with a BMW engine
Plums....
