morning phil

i take it your talking about a ford focus "barge" with front wheel drive buddy ?

secondly, are you experiancing any unusual dizzy spell's this morning(vomiting/dizzyness/outer body issues etc)

my own opinion is to keep the sti, stump up the extra £150 road tax for the scoob(less then 50 pence per day) and return to bed and forget about what you have just asked on a public forum, the focus is a 2 tonne barge with about 220 bhp through the front wheels, and if you check the parkers tax calculator, the focus will still be getting hit hard with a tax hike of its own!

now stop talking your jibba jabba dude

and i will speak to you tomorrow evening

Completely forget the ST mate if you are really considering a swap and if you are set on a Focus its got to be the RS all the way.

Some really nice examples of PH recently running big power - 350 to 400bhp

Better all round performance and nice and rare in comparison to the ST.

My opinion only, based on my own personal experience.....I think you may be upset if you buy any 2 wheel drive car after owning a Scoob, however good the 2 wheel drive car is.

I sold my JDM STi last year to 'save money' and got a bmw 330d, which, apart from being a very nice car indeed, always struggled for traction even on a slightly damp road...........something that became quite annoying to say the least. Living in a country where it rains a good 6 months of the year, I believe a Subaru is one of the very best cars you can own, purely for traction, as well as of course better proven reliability than any UK/German marque, not forgetting the superior build quality.

I'm now back in a standard 05 WRX, and love every minute of driving it, in all weathers! (wont be standard for long!)
