fuel economy question

Default fuel economy question

hey all would a remap for my 03 sti type uk effect my fuel economy and how?she seems to very thirsty at the moment for some reason and not because of my right foot

If you modded it (eg. induction kit) without a remap it could quite possibly be running rich, hence lower economy. A remap could sort that out as well as getting more power.
I had exactly that problem: 335hp/313 FtLbs before and running v.rich....360hp/398 FtLbs after and running fine.

I got better fuel economy with each subsequent remap.

220-240-260.

Standard-320bhp-390bhp.

Mine got better, not a huge difference, but maybe another 10-20 miles out of a tank.

Complete and utter thread-jack, but we've done fuel economy to bits. Did you get the APS3.5"??

Not yet Gaz the geezer aint replying to emails I've got a m8s inlaws coming down this weekend from Manchester so they could pick it up and bring it down as well

I want it M8, but just got home and still no reply from the bloke!! I've even got a buyer for the unresonated centre and backbox on mine
