Default APS induction kits

i ve been looking for an aps induction kit for my 1998 ukturbo, unfortunately the only make the 1999> ones now , but the dealer told me that the 1999 one can me modified by making an adaptor plate for the maf or re drilling the holes (presumably the maf is slightly different?)

anybody done this??

Never heard of that.

Maybe worth trying a K&N typhoon for less hastle, which is a similar CAIK.
