dont bother unless your going for over 350 bhp, stick with the standard airbox or you will end up losing power!!

Otherwise a K&N you cant go wrong with. The problem the the blitz filter is that because its a mesh filter small particals can sometimes get into it and then into the engine!
Apexi are also supposed to be very good though

ah right, losing power due to heat soak or just because you will need to upgrade the ecu etc to match the induc. Kit?

Due to heatsoak. You can make a cold air feed to make it a little better which is what I have done.

Don't do it, you are wasting your cash. Unless you have a front mount or 400 brake you will be wasting your time and money. An enlcosed IK kit with a cold feed is just the same as an OE air box at the end of the day.

Agreed but my car came with the IK and no airbox, which is why I enclosed it and fitted a cold air feed.

I might get slaughtered for this but I do quite like the roar of an induction kit.

Plus the louder recirc.

thats what im getting at with the roar of an induction kit...a bloke who lives around my way has a 97 wrx with a little exhaust on it but has an induction kit and it sounds cracking! i have a ninja II exhaust on my wrx and was wondering if fitting a kit would create a nice roar on opening up?

You could always remove the pipes that are inside the wing and fit a good filter, this gives you some more noise.

Only you can decide that. What do you want more, a bit more noise or maybe losing a few BHP. Plus the afr may not be correct after fitting one.

I would go with K & N. Good filtration and not to oiled.

No, I like that spoiler on the 2 door cars. I would change the bumper if it was mine but other than that very nice.

dont want to lose bhp at all tbh...no point in that is there, lol

i dont know then....... bit of a bugger i think! i think a induction kit would give it grunt but at the expense of bhp is it worth it?

Cheers mate

I quite like the fact that the bumper is different. Plus its not too offensive, like some kits I have seen.

You could always do as T5OLF says and take the resonator out and replace the panel filter with an uprated one. If its still not loud enough then go down the IK route.
