Fuel Prices and taxtation - FFS about time we did something
Ok you may laugh at my post but look at this.
Fuel has gone up by a ridiculous amount and will continue to do so, taxation is at a level unheard of and drivers of cars and especially performance cars are bearing the brunt of Labours failed financial **** ups.
If your loaded and are happy with the current levels of taxation then fine, like me if you are not then do something.
For what its worth i have sent e-mails to my local labour councillor and MP saying due to the last budget i will not be voting for Labour again.
if enough people do something then they will sit up and take notice, if you just moan then they will think it is acceptable to tax us even more.
I would and be prepared to protest in London i am dead serious here, but something needs to be done.
think about it if you got a load on here and on pistonheads as well as other forums plus the publicity it would get, we could easy get tens of thousands of people.
do nothing and i'll stick my neck out and say this the perfomance car will be dead in 5 years unless you are extremley well heeled.
do something - ok it may account to nothing, but at least you gave it your best shot!

mmm difficult one this
i'm crusty enough to remember the tories in the 80s,
my mortgage went from £118 quid a month to £200 a month in ten months.
that'd be my current one of £1000 up to around £1800
now you can leave your car in the garage,or dare i say it but a cheaper to run one.
but you can't not pay your mortgage.
i'm not standing by these scum who run the country now but sometimes it's better the devil you know maybe

The real reason the cost of fuel is going up is the same reason sprits are going up, cos of the cut back on ciggies been brought which is 78% taxed they have to get the money from somewhere and where better the people who can afford to buy high performance cars and 4x4s

As I said in a similar thread on here
And while we moan about petrol prices going ever higher, half of the world hasn't enough food for today, let alone tomorrow. Our comfortable lifestyles are only possible because of others' deprivation.
Sometimes we need to stop for a moment and just think about what we've got and what others haven't.
Infract me if you want. It's the truth that hurts, not petrol prices.
