Went To See The Evo X In The Flesh On Sat
Went down to the Local Mitsi Dealer on Sat.
I’m about 2 months away from changing my car.
All I can say is it looked superb in the Flesh, that good I nearly had the Lad out looking at it
Went with the Mrs, who, I expected to turn her nose up at it.
No, she loved the Colour (Metallic Red), she was impressed with the space inside the car, she even appreciated the more up-market feel compared to our MY 06 STI & the last Evo I had, VI TME..
The only stumbling block was the Boot
What have they done FFS.
It was tiny; they’ve put the Battery & washer bottle in the boot making it a silly size.
The reason for the, "Size Matters" boot is the impending arrival of our 1st Born. After 15 years together we’ve got what we’ve wanted for the last few years.
So it looks like the 08 STI has won the day.
We went to see one the other week and was suitably impressed especially with how practical it is. Back seats laid down making it superb for the gear we’ll no doubt be lumping about & my fishing trips with the amount of gear I take (she goes ballistic)
Now the only decision JDM or Type UK.

The Evo is the opposite of the new Impreza STI. As in:-
Impreza looks sh*te in the pics but much better in the flesh.
Evo looks better in the pics than it does in the flesh.

Third that!
Haven't seen the evo yet, but saw a my08 Lancer, and they look pretty good, so can only imagine how much sweeter the Evo version would look.
Not feeling the impreza hatcback at all, saw a blue WRX last week ugly!
