I would like to know how it compares with the official 0-62 time of 6.5 secs for the new WRX

Just checked the spec sheet (I have it from when I purchased mine) and 5.9 to 62 is correct (6.1 for wagon). PPP lowers it down to 4.8 for 0-60 (doesn't say for 62).

You wont get these numbers in real life anyway, and you'll smell lots of clutch trying (I should know). I did manage to clock 4.8 to 60 with the PPP but the speedo is not accurate according to GPS devices (about 5mph out) so I guess it would really have been in the 5.0-5.5 range.

 

I definitely read that it is 5.6 seconds 0-60.
