Could someone tell me if the MY08 STi has a tracker fitted as standard and if so, what model is it?

It does, i have just had my registration emails and texts through from the company. Dont have my car yet though lol

I got mine last week. It's not like the previous system that I had on my 05sti whereby you had a phone call to tell you that your car was moving without the ignition key (or not in my case). This one is "proactive" which means that you have to text the system to confirm where your car is. At least this lets you know that the system is working properly. It also advises you if your alarm is going off, although I had 6 false reports in the first week (one of which was at 06.00 hrs). There are other things that it does like enable you to remotely immobilize your car.
