Honest answers only!!!!! How do you drive your scooby?
The reason I'm asking is because everyone comments on handling and how good/poor tyres are...Bbut how many people actually track them?
On all my cars I have had decent tyres but not top of the range and they have all been superb. I can not comment on handling or tyres as I have never pushed a car to its limits to see how good/bad it is...Other than braking!!!!
So unless everyone takes them to racedays etc how can you comment?
I take it if you dont do track sessions you just drive 'hard'
I know what people will say... ' Why have a scooby if you drive it like an old man?!' To answer that one....I drive it like that 99% of the time but that 1% I keep for rainy days! (No pun intended!)

I drive my scoob like I stole it..every blinking day
(except if I come to sell it, then it has never been tracked, is kept in a garage all week in a blanket and cotton wool and on the odd occasion I drive it, it never goes above 26mph...honest )

Like a granny in the morning (caus I'm usually still half asleep) and like a nutter on the way home. BUT its always warmed up fully before I hammer it. I've always had sympathy for a cold engine.

Just drive normally on the road, not too fast as there is so much traffic. At this rate tyres last for ages. However, when I take it on the track I give it death and it laps (!) it up. Depending on the track surface the tyres can wear a little or a lot. Airfields the worst, proper race tracks the best.
On the track you can really tell the difference between tyres.

a lottery win so I can afford to spunk money on tyres/brakes and engines when they go bang! lol I would love to track my car but have not got the ***** to do it! It would feel like I'm hurting my baby!

As fast as the road/weather/traffic conditions allow, gets me a few hand gestures and flashes but i keep it safe, lincolnshire A roads are made for it. Drive a class 1 hgv all week 55mph max so need a release at the weekend

Ditto, I only really push the car where I feel confident and this is usually down a few B roads I know, mostly out of the way of main traffic otherwise I pootle along most of the week as I don't work far so only a 10 minute journey into work.

I drive mine fairly hard on appropriate roads and when the misses isn't in the car
My car has had handling mods done to it before I got it and its fantastic no under steer at all if anything it over steers a bit
But IMO you can’t drive a 300bhp Scooby flat out on twisty public roads however good you’re driving is. you are on borrowed time or not driving as hard as you think.
I gave mine a good run out today on very wet slippery roads and you can get into sooo much trouble so quickly. Yes I was going fast but nothing close to the cars true potential.
I think if some people took there cars on to a track and let somebody use there car that can drive they would be surprised at how fast and capable it is.
Many just think they drive flat out
