i never new that tescos did a 99 ron up until today , i always thought that the tesco super i was putting in was the right stuff ... but i just noticed that its only 97 ron

my car is a my00 uk ..

was wondering if 97ron was ok or should i use 99ron

also am looking for peeps advice on what they use and if anyone has noticed any problems or differences when using 97ron or 99ron

also where in leicester can you buy tescos 99 ron from

you can run a uk turbo on 97 ron no problem

 

Tesco Super Unleaded is 99 ron not 97 ron the stickers on the pumps say so.

Unleaded = 97 ron
Super Unleaded = 99 ron



If you look on greenenergy website the people who provide Tesco with fuel it gets confusing.

They state

Tesco 99 Octane = 99 Ron
Tesco Super Unleaded = 97 Ron
Tesco Standard Unleaded = 95 Ron

Actual practice is as stated above certainly in all Tesco stations I use in Cambridgeshire (St.Neots, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Bar Hill) you have 2 options

Tesco Super Unleaded = 99 Ron
Tesco Standard Unleaded = 97 Ron

They don't have anything called Tesco 99 Octane at the pumps, purely Tesco Super Unleaded that is 99 Octane / Ron

 

the tesco by me in weston super mare does 3 types of unleaded.

95 ron standard
97 ron super
99 ron super

97 &99 are both the same price so mine gets the 99

 

mine deffo says super 97ron and standard 95 ron at my tescos..

anyone know a tescos in leicester that do 99ron
